Expedition

Nepal is known the world over primarily for three things.  MT. EVEREST; LORD BUDDHA’S BIRTHPLACE; AND AS THE HOMELAND OF BRAVE GURKHA SOLDIERS.   However, it is her mountains that have proved to be irresistible for the world’s bravest adventurers.  It all began with the scaling of Mt. Everest by Edmund Hillary and his Sherpa colleague Tenzing Norgay, in 1953.  Then followed the Messners, the Bonningtons, and the Herzogs.  Not at all surprising since the land stands tall with 8 of the 14 highest mountains over 8000 m. in the world.  

Of the countless number of summits within Nepal, a little over 100 are open for the expeditions.  Our climbing staff includes several multiple time Everest  summitters, and well experience climbing “sherpas” graduates of Advanced Mountaineering and Rescue Training.  We arrange all necessary expedition permits and logistics for any open Himalayan peak in Nepal, Sikkim and Tibet.

Mt. Makalu Expedition
Just 22 km east of Mount Everest & Situated between Everest and Kanchenjunga, on the Nepali-Tibetan border. Its size alone is impressive, but its structure, that of a perfect pyramid with four sharp ridges, makes this mountain all the more spectacular.

Mt. Dhaulagiri Expedition
Mt. Dhaulagiri, the White Mountain was first climbed by the Swiss in 1960. It’s name is derived from Sanskrit“dhavala- means white” and giri is mountain – The White Mountain. It is an enormous Himalaya massif located in theNorth Central Nepal.

Mt. Manaslu Expedition
Manaslu was first climbed in 1956 by a Japanese expedition. Its name comes from the Sanskrit word Manasa, meaning 'intellect' or 'soul'. This is the same word that is the root of the name of the holy lake Manasarover near Mt kailas in Tibet.

Mt. Everest Expedition
