AMTREK’s profile includes full expedition support to some of the world famous climbers.   It is also one of the pioneer companies to undertake commercial Everest expedition in Nepal & Tibet. Our Sherpas are highly qualified and experienced. All our Sherpas have had high reputation with excellent success rates with safety of client as number one priority. However, all climbing members will have had considerable climbing experience at higher altitudes, preferably in Himalaya. Each climber will be aware of the inherent risks - bad weather, injury and death ? associated with climbing Everest and understand that the possibility of actually summit is very slim. There will be a manager at base camp to assist the team and act as a liaison between climbers and the Sherpas. All members will be assisted by our high quality Sherpa at the ratio of 1:1, most of whom have summit Everest numerous times Proper acclimatization is of the utmost importance, as well as the following the advice of the climbing Sherpa and the team's Sirdar. Oxygen (04 bottles with mask and regulator) is included in the cost. Food will be both local and imported; high altitude food will be a variety of the standard precooked, imported, boil-n-bags. Members are responsible for their own private snacks, sports drinks and personal preferences.   Each member is responsible for his/her own first aid supplies.

After final preparations in Kathmandu, we'll fly to Lukla and begin our teahouse trek up the Khumbu Valley to Everest base camp. We will establish our base camp at ~5500m at the foot of the notorious Khumbu Icefall before making our way to Camp 01 at 6200m. We'll climb to Camp 02 at 6600m smack in the middle of the Western Cwm, up the Lhotse face to Camp 03 at 7200m. Finally, we'll head up the South Col to Camp 04 at ~8000m before making our summit push.
